The depression over east-central Bay of Bengal is extremely likely to maneuver during a north-northwest direction and intensify into a cyclonic storm and make Cyclone Yaas more dangerous.
The Cyclone Yaas is predicted to cross the coast in north Odisha West Bengal between Paradip. So the Waves are likely to increase their shape and will give more dangerous situation on land.
And therefore the Sagar islands by the evening of May 26 will face really severe cyclonic storm.
So the Officials at the Regional Meteorological Centre in Kolkata on Sunday issued warnings that harsh winds of 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph are very likely to prevail over North Bay of Bengal and along and off Odisha West Bengal Bangladesh coasts from the evening of May 24.
The People around region informed about that and the administration take care of it.
A special bulletin issued by the IMD late on Sunday evening said “It would gradually increase further becoming 90-100kmph howling to 110 kmph from 26th dawn and increase thereafter becoming 155-165 kmph howling to 185 kmph at the time of landfall till 26th pm,“
